For children aged 3 - 5, an exploratory morning program that introduces young children to music in a fun and playful environment. Parents are welcome but are not required to attend.
Students aged 4 - 12 who are planning on learning a string instrument can enroll in this specific morning program to learn about the different instruments and what it’s like to learn to play. Parents are expected to attend.
For students age 5-18 who have had at least one term of instruction on a stringed instrument. This program consists of 3 hours of core classes (master class, orchestra and group class) from Monday to Friday inclusive. Additional activities such as play-ins, social events and community exploration out-trips are also scheduled.
The program for students 12-18 begins Friday evening, 2 days earlier than the main institute. It includes a weekend of intensive chamber rehearsals, 4 hours of core classes from Monday through Friday of the main institute week, and additional performances. It is intended for advanced students with considerable previous chamber music experience who are looking for a more intensive program. Acceptance is selective and contingent upon instrumentation. Students not accepted into the ACM Program are guaranteed space in the Main Institute.

Bagged lunches are available Tuesday and Thursday to take with you on the community excursions. (You are also welcome to bring your own lunch.)
